The Aquavital Limescale Magnet is clamped onto the outside of the water pipe. No plumber needed, no intervention in the pipe, no tools.
Install the Aquavital Limescale Magnet directly after the mains water connection – ideally on the cold water pipe before the boiler. This ensures all water in the house is treated.
The device opens on a hinge. Place it around the water pipe – it fits all standard pipe diameters (up to 1 inch for Type 3, up to 1½ inches for Type 4).
There is a direction arrow on the device. This must point in the direction of water flow – i.e. from the mains water connection towards the house.
Close the device and secure it with the latch. The Limescale Magnet sits firmly on the pipe – done. No screwing, no gluing, no tools.
With the detached house and terraced house packages, a second, smaller device (Type 2) is installed on the hot water pipe after the boiler – same method.
